Kristie Betts

Kristie Betts is a dedicated professional with a significant amount of experience in nonprofit and municipal sectors. She joins United Way of DeKalb County as the Early Learning Coordinator, where she will work to strengthen early childhood education and family engagement through collaboration with local schools, community partners and families.

Mike Quaderer

Mike is a Customer Service Representative at New Millennium and proudly serves on United Way of DeKalb County’s Community Impact Committee. He is driven by a genuine commitment to helping others and strengthening the community. Outside of work, Mike enjoys spending time with family and friends and cheering on his favorite Michigan sports teams — the Wolverines, Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings. Go Blue!

Heath Hook

Heath is a lifelong DeKalb County resident. After earning a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Systems Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, he returned to Butler to help manage his family farm. In addition to farming, Heath and his wife, Jackie, have spent the last 15 years building and operating their own rental real estate business.

Jonnie Gerardot

Jonnie is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County with nearly 12 years of experience in public service. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Social Work from the University of Saint Francis in 2013 and later completed her Master of Science in Criminal Justice at Trine University in 2022.  Passionate about serving her community, Jonnie is dedicated to helping others and enjoys collaborating with local agencies to create meaningful connections and resources.
