Christina Gaar

Christina has worked in the banking industry for over 20 years and is currently a Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer for Community State Bank. As a resident of Garrett, Christina has served as President of Saint Joe Catholic School Board, Co-chair of Garrett Middle School Parent Connect, a longstanding member of the Garrett Rotary, and a member of the United Way Power of the Purse Committee. Christina has been married to her wonderful husband Travis for 19 years, and they have 3 children, Connor, Kaylee, and Jackson who keep them busy with school and sports.

Liz Risedorph-Emenhiser

Liz has worked at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since 2002 and in the sales department since 2012. She retired from the US Air Force/Indiana Air National Guard in 2008. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue Fort Wayne and her Master of Art - Organizational Leadership degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Liz began volunteering with the United Way of DeKalb County in 2004 as a department representative during SDI's yearly campaign, and for Day of Caring in 2005. She chaired SDI Butler's company campaign from 2011 through 2019.

Bill Ferrell

Bill Ferrell is a recent retiree from Merrill Lynch and has called Auburn home for the past 38 years, where he lives with his wife, Jean. He is the proud father of two daughters and grandfather to two grandchildren. Bill currently serves on the Finance Committee for United Way of DeKalb County. He has previously served on the board of Habitat for Humanity and is a former board president. In his free time, Bill enjoys traveling, camping, and hiking.

Dottie Fuentes

As a resident of DeKalb County and a licensed mental health counselor serving DeKalb County for the last thirteen years, Dottie is dedicated to improving the lives of neighbors, friends, community partners, and residents. She is passionate about creating opportunities and lending a helping hand to those in need. As the Chief Clinical Officer for the Northeastern Center, Dottie provides clinical oversight for mental health and addiction services and identifies clinical opportunities for new programming to meet the needs of DeKalb County residents.

Kelly Stezowski

Kelly is originally from Michigan but has worked in and around DeKalb County for over 20 years. She is the Talent Manager at Metal Technologies. Kelly has participated in a variety of United Way projects and campaigns for Allen and DeKalb Counties and looks forward to working with other board members to continue the good work United Way of DeKalb County accomplishes in our community.  Kelly and her husband enjoy spending time outdoors with their daughter.

Amanda Rice

Amanda is a proud graduate of DeKalb High School and Ball State University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Arts in Education. She has dedicated over 20 years to DeKalb Central Schools and has served as Principal of Waterloo Elementary for the past six years.

Kirby Cool

Kirby Cool returned to United Way of DeKalb County as Community Impact Coordinator on September 23, 2024. A graduate of Purdue University Fort Wayne, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology and a Certificate in Fund Raising Management (CFRM) through The Fund Raising School at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Tyler Cleverly

Tyler was hired as Executive Director on April 6, 2020. He joined United Way of DeKalb County as a volunteer serving on the Community Impact Committee in December 2015. Tyler later Co-Chaired the committee and served as a United Way of DeKalb County Board member, eventually becoming the Board Vice-President in July 2019.
