
As a lifelong resident of Garrett, Kelly takes great pride in serving the community she calls home and has shaped her personally and professionally. After earning her Bachelor’s Degree is Elementary Education from Ball State University, she dedicated 15 years in a variety of roles at the elementary level – 13 of those years at J.E. Ober in Garrett. Expanding her impact beyond the classroom, Kelly spent three and a half years with Parkview Health where she led a team in developing and delivering specialized training programs to help physicians and nurses effectively learn and use the electronic health record software. Driven by her passion for student growth and academic excellence, Kelly returned to the field of education in her current role as the Director of Curriculum and Career Development at Garrett-Keyser-Butler. She continues to invest in the future of her hometown where she lives with her husband and their three children.
