Kristie Betts

Kristie Betts is a dedicated professional with a significant amount of experience in nonprofit and municipal sectors. She joins United Way of DeKalb County as the Early Learning Coordinator, where she will work to strengthen early childhood education and family engagement through collaboration with local schools, community partners and families.

Kristie moved to DeKalb County from Michigan in 2024 and holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has dedicated much of her professional career to working with the local community, bringing resources to the public. When not at the office you will find Kristie with her husband, older children and with Bella, who is a “career changed” leader dog of the blind.
