
Amanda is a proud graduate of DeKalb High School and Ball State University, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and her Master of Arts in Education. She has dedicated over 20 years to DeKalb Central Schools and has served as Principal of Waterloo Elementary for the past six years.
Amanda was first introduced to United Way of DeKalb County through her involvement on the community impact committee, an experience that deepened her passion for community impact. She joined the United Way of DeKalb County Board of Directors in August 2024.
Amanda and her husband, Ben, have two children, Caden and MaCailin, who keep them busy with sports and school activities. In their free time, the family enjoys spending time outdoors and tackling home remodeling projects together.
