Liz has worked at Steel Dynamics, Inc. since 2002 and in the sales department since 2012. She retired from the US Air Force/Indiana Air National Guard in 2008. She earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue Fort Wayne and her Master of Art - Organizational Leadership degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Liz began volunteering with the United Way of DeKalb County in 2004 as a department representative during SDI's yearly campaign, and for Day of Caring in 2005. She chaired SDI Butler's company campaign from 2011 through 2019. Liz has been a past United Way of DeKalb County committee member for Campaign, Allocation Review, and Community Impact. She is looking forward to leading the Day of Caring Committee as the committee chair. Liz enjoys living and serving in DeKalb County, traveling, and attending sporting events with her husband Chris, and their three children, Breanna, Brennan, and Nicklas.
