Health or human services nonprofit organizations serving DeKalb County residents may apply for a community impact grant. Grant requests are reviewed monthly, and special consideration is given to programs targeting United Way's focus areas of Education, Income, and Health.
Applications must be filled out online!
The United Way of DeKalb County is accepting grant applications to fund staff training for early childhood professionals. These grants will be given to organizations in the county that serve children ages 0-5 with a focus on meeting the needs of disadvantaged families as measured by poverty rates, mental illness, single-parent households, free and reduced lunch rates, etc. These grants are intended to develop the highest quality early childhood staff possible so that families in our county are supported and children are able to excel.
Any marketing and recognition for use of these funds must include mention of the United Way of DeKalb County and a United Way of DeKalb County logo. Grantees will be asked to submit photos of staff training when possible; photo release forms will be provided by the United Way of DeKalb County.
Each grant will be for a maximum of $500. Grant applications are due by the 1st of each month and a decision letter will be sent to grantees by the end of the same month.
