Funding Panels are made up of community volunteers during our allocation process. Each spring, partner agencies submit an application for funding in order to recieve allocations for the upcoming year.
Each partner agency, upon reciept of their application is either contacted or visited in person by an allocation committee volunteer. This one-on-one process allows United Way and the partner agency to communicate more effectively about the services and programs the agency is providing.
United Way of DeKalb County currently partners with 24 agencies in DeKalb County, offering more than 36 programs to community residents.
Applications are available at the United Way office loctated at 215 E. Ninth Street, Auburn, IN 46706. Or you can call 260.927.0995.
