Floral Design and Wine

United Way of DeKalb County invites all ladies to the Women's Leadership Council (WLC) Annual Membership Meeting on Tuesday, March 14th, 2016.  The meeting will take place from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bridgewater Country Club (1818 Morning Star Road, Auburn, IN 46706). Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, and Peggy Souder will guide us in creating a simple floral arrangement.  The evening will include 2015 WLC highlights, 2016 WLC plans, and a Let’s Talk Early Learning Initiative update for DeKalb County. 

Exciting plans are underway for 2016 and we need YOU to share your vision, passion, and expertise to help us make positive changes in our community. Some ideas that the WLC leadership team have been considering include story times with children, a dining etiquette event for young women, a disability awareness experience, a genealogy event, and participation in an “Essence of Woman” art exhibit.  In addition to these opportunities, we will partner with Serenity House to mentor women in recovery, and we will continue to develop and support efforts that focus on the importance of early learning.

Please feel free to bring a friend or colleague to the Membership Meeting. If you bring a guest to the March 14th event, both your name and your guest’s name will be entered in a drawing to win two 2016 Power of the Purse tickets!
